Hi There,
I am living outside the US which makes my life with K2500 1998 Burb 7.4 a hard.
It is even harde if I will tell you that Iam living in European Union ;)

So I have a Burb with 7,4 that is bone stock for now. I had already purchased the lot headerss - to be installed and some other gadgets.
All that will make sens if I will tune ECU and as we know black box has some limitations.

Could you help me out who on formu is a guru and could prepare hardware + software package and later on support me with next steps using Hp Tuners? (hp tuners in plan to purchase)

I found Black Bear Ecus - but will they make soemthing so custom and provide a total package ?
Flashmasters - found on ebay said - no custom works

Who else could hep from gmt400 ?

You don't really need to swap to the 0411 PCM unless you plan on doing some serious modifications in my opinion. The '98+ black box PCMs in these trucks are supported by HPTuners already.

That said, @Lextech offers spreadsheets to help with swapping to the 0411 if that's really what you want to do. More info here:

I believe @L31MaxExpress has some experience with HPTuners as well.

Depending on if you delete the EGR or not you might not need a computer tune. I’ve used blackbear they are good no hesitation there.

Dear df2x4,
Thank you!
I know I can use HP Tuners for current changes but after small things:
1. Long tubes
2. Rocker arms 1.7
3. Throttle distancer (no idea it it is really helping - Iam bit pesimistic but it was recomended to me to urent stock efi inlet)

Big things are to use other inlet- Speedmaster/Holley/Edelbrock - just to have a proper EFI
