I honestly don't remember putting a block in the back at all. If anything it could have been a 2" block. Gotta remember this is a 2wd truck. The 4" spindle would be equivalent to cranking the Tbars on a 4x4.
Hmm Never messed around with 2wd models. My limited understanding from looking online is a 4" spindle lift moves the hub 4" down, providing 4" of lift? But I'm also assuming stock 2wd models sit a little lower stock than 4wd. I think stock, center of hub to fender is about 21" for my k1500, I'll have to go measure. Do you know what your distance is center of hub to fender?

Cracks me up a little to think of a 235/85/16 as a pizza cutter tire. They're the "fatter/taller" optional size on a C3500 dually. The smaller regular tire option on those are 225/75/16.

I've considered 225s for my srw 4x4, when I've found good used ones at auction. I have not yet done it, Though.

Hard to believe you’re losing that much power. I don’t think I would change the tires, but rather do a good tune up and some performance bolt ons. A skinny tire on those wheels would look goofy. Or maybe install a factory sized tire but nothing smaller.

I had bfg ko2 and replaced them with coopers. So far i like them, I don’t have to use 4wd as often.

I went from a 265/75/16 to a 295/75/16 and I feel the difference. It’s not a power loss it’s the engine and trans not in the right range on the power band. The optional size for my truck was a 235/85/16.
