Has anyone used this clamptite system? I'm thinking about getting the standard kit and replacing all of my worm style clamps.

I am guessing that -46 means 1946? I have a Snap-On 1/2 ratchet made that year.Got it all cleaned up and some fresh grease in it. Sounds alot less chunky now.
Looks like a lot of fumbling around to get it on for what a band clamp or traditional clamp can do in seconds. At least with a tabbed band clamp you can turn the tabs to the bottom side so they are less obnoxious. This wire thing is not that "clean" looking when done. It maybe ok for steering rack or cv boots but not so sure on a fluid connection and it would be a hard time pulling it off in a confined space if you can't flip the tool all around. Good idea but question the practicality.Has anyone used this clamptite system? I'm thinking about getting the standard kit and replacing all of my worm style clamps.

Youll love that impact, Ive had mine for almost 3 years now and my biggest complaint is the plastic case on the batteries breaking.Had extra points from my Prime card so I ordered this impact driver. I have a drill driver with the 1.3AH batteries and they don't last very long so, I thought I'd try the 2.0AH ones. I also got a couple bits for it. ALL FOR FREE!
