New style emblems fit obs?

Hey guys i want to put an emblem on the front of my gmc sierra 1990 but i want the mew metal ones that the 08+ have. Does anyone know if itll be a same fit or do they sell shiny metal ones for obs trucks? All i can find is the dull ones that they came with. Such as this one--v

Never compared the two but I'm willing to bet that it won't work without some custom fabrication.

just looking at the pictures, I don't think they'd be a direct swap

You could get a billet insert and fabricate a way to mount the newer emblem to it

if i can find one for cheap ill try to make something, i like them a lot also they're are very clean looking

They clip in. Not bolt in. Wouldn't be close
