Pulled of bumper cover/valance and found a shiny chrome bumper. Thinking on putting bumper trim and stock valence too. Also removed the old tint too.

In 2010 I had a fender bender, and replaces the Silverado bumper with a plan chrome bumper I found in the salvage yard. I like it a lot better with out the plastic trim. Of course like you my truck has new paint, done in Oct, 2013 The strips were stick on before the wreck, and to skinny. My valance has been off sence the wreck.

If I could find a solid chrome bumper for a good price I would get one. It looks good on your truck!

Thanks. It was all they had at the time, but now I am glade it doesn't have the plastic strip. Like you, I think it looks better with out it. Im sure you can order one at autopartswearhouse.com
