I have a 97 c1500 extended cab I'm running 19 inch 2011 camaro wheels (with adapters). The tire size on em are 245/50/19 and I have a 3/5 drop and the rear is just fine with adapters and so is the front.

The pic below is a 20 inch rim with the same size tires as mine(245/50). Might wanna do a lower profile tire, not sure what your road conditions are but lower profile tires don't ride good on bumpy roads. 4/6 drop would be way to low for those rims even with the same size tire as mine because of those 20s. I'd say get a lower profile tire and do a 3/5 drop like what I have.
