I have the rear from 96 C1500 for sale. It came factory with a 10-bolt 3.73 and G80. The rear has 72,000 miles on it and the brakes were completely re-done about 1,000 miles ago. New drums, shoes, and brake cylinders. No issues what-so-ever. Replaced it with a 14-bolt SF last week.

Pickup at my location for $100 cash. The new brakes alone are worth more than that.

I will deliver within a 100 mile drive for an extra $75 (gas ain't cheap).

Not going through shipping this thing, sorry.

My son just blew up a G80, same setup in his 2006 silverado 1500 non HD. Would you know if your G80 out of a 96 would fit? Just need something to get by until we can install a Detroit TruTrac. Need the truck for work.

Thanks

If they are both a 10-bolt, I would think they should be interchangeable. But I wouldn't know for sure. I'm not really interested in parting it out. It's a working rear and should be worth more like $300+ with the new brakes.

Thanks for the reply. After further research it won't work as ours is 6 bolt 30 spline axle whereas yours is a 5 bolt 28 spline.
Again thanks for the reply.
