i recently completed a rear disc conversion on my 98 sierra with the 14 bolt rear diff. all went well so far. few questions for those who have completed this before.
1- I have read that the prop valve needs to be changed( I did not see that on my truck)
2- some have said that the rear axle flanges have to be ground down, others have not. what is correct?
3 my rt side caliper is facing at 2oclock, my left caliper is facing at 8oclock for brake cable mounting to match the way they came off the newer vehicle. is this correct?
please advise and clairify. thanks.
