I'm lost. Unless I didn't look back enough what was the ubolt idea?

when i put the 52's on the spring pack is higher then the 4" leaf pack. So now i have to get longer u bolts. But decided since i have two plates, one on top one on bottom of my spings. to cut the u bolts and tap the top side of the "bolt" and put a nut on it then weld the nut on to the top side of the bolt. Which i did last night. For the first time welding in years i think i did fairly well.

Yeah ill get some later, gotta clean up the garage from the mess i made. lol

Well, the truck has been on jackstands for nearly a week now. It'll be another week or so due to the holidays til i get my new used hub in... Truck is seriously taller then what it was before, and the axle is moved forwards about a inch. i need a longer DShaft now.

What else kinda sucked was i thought i left my hubs locked in... Well you see what happened, and im kinda glad i didn't go much further in. It took 3 hours to clean off 90% of that .
