my 1998 silverado SAS Build and Question Thread.

Well i figured id post my truck up and my plans.

Dana 60 kingpin front, open, 4.88's
14SF rear, Detroit trutrac, 4.88's
ORD SAS kit, which is sitting in my room right now

Just ordered some 16x10 micky thompson wheels
ordered a differntial rebuild kit for my d60 because it's missing a retinaing pin and the pinion ate the center pin :(

I already have 3157516 Toyo open country mud terrains

I picked up a rear disc conversion kit for like 100 bucks shipped to me. it's a tsmmfg kit which i got a good deal on.

I'm trying to sell the half ton axles i got that are built like my front axles but needs wheel bearings.. if anyone is interested im trying to get 500

steering, should be here tomorrow, went with crossover ORD

wheel bearings
spindle bearings
seals kingpin rebuilds


Thats all i think i need, just gonna have about 600 bucks when i start putting it all together.

I have that same desk and vice at work.

well if she wants to drive it on my dime she better do something for it. and those tables are common lol we got about 3 per bay (22 bay shop )

I also have that same tire pressure gauge, except with the metal end with the dual thingy at the end. Got it from Cornwell, I had a digital cornwell one, but returned it for that one, it was $50.00 cheaper.

lol i bought mine for 20 bucks at sears :p i prefer this one unless messing with DRW diesels.

Well wheels and rebuild kit will be here tomorrow which means this week ill be ripping the rest of my axle apart and then be bringing it in to work to build it. yay
