My 1997 GMC Sierra's Build Thread

I haven't been on the forum for to long but I decided to show what I have done to my truck up to this point! I couldnt find any pictures of what it looked liked when my dad gave it to me but it had a camper shell which I promptly took off haha
These are with 285/75r16 stock with no crank. I also had the tool box that I picked up for forty bucks at a yard sale.

I got some bumpers at a junk yard and some brand new fender flares off craigslist and got the truck painted white again with all the body work this is the day it came out of the shop

Had an extra set of rims just sitting around so I decided to get them powder coated and I got an amazing deal on brand new 305 70 r 16 Maxxis Bighorns

Cranked all the way up with the new rims and tires

Put an AAL in the back and it sat like this for a while

How it is sitting today with an RCX four inch lift. I took the AAL out so maybe when I need new tires I can get thirty fives and make it a six! I love the way it looks though!

Sorry for all the pictures I just really wanted to show all that I had done to it! Thanks for looking and let me know what you thnk! My tow mirrors should also be in today or tomorrow. I also cut out the Flowmaster and am now running Straight Pipes out the sides.

Thanks guys I appreciate it! Yeah I found those bumpers by chance on a Tahoe that had been hit on the side. They were perfect I paid 350 for both and 100 to get them re painted gloss black. The only thing was that they were welded to the frame so they cut them off and my buddy welded me new brackets to have them bolt on where the stock ones went! I just have no idea what brand they are? I have a feeling that the guy had made them both.

Looks great. Mirrors really fit well with the look you have. I'm sure they help with that trailer too.
