I got my big three kit installed today. I didnt have my meter to get actual readings with but there was a huge improvement. When my compressors and stereo would be on it would drop down to around 10-11 volts at idle. After the upgrade it stays at almost 14v at idles with compressors running, radio on, and the fan on high. The compressors sound so much better when they kick on now too.

pic of the gauges with everything running.

Thats about all I have gotten done lately been so dang busy with work and other crap. I finally managed to get every single lil air leak fixed, that was a major pita. I am getting some new horns today a set of Nathan K5s muhaha :evillol: and I am ordering some MMW control arms tomorrow :rocking:. One of these days I will get that new rear end in I hope lol Gotta go out of town this weekend so hopefully next weekend. Idk if any of you guys despise bleeding brakes as much as I do but I found a site that shows how to make a good one man bleeder for only $25 or so. I am gonna be building one of those for sure before doing all this brake work.

Link:

Got my train horns last night. I'm Thinking about getting them powder coated candy red too.

In 4-5 weeks I should have some bad ass control arms. Damn shipping was $87.14 these ******** must be beefy lol.

Man I love me some craigslist I'm stuck at work but a buddy just went and picked this up for me. 9"x6' tandem axle fender for $10 brand new just has a lil surface rust. I'm gonna make some mounting tabs so I can bolt em in so I can get them powder coated that candy red.

Bout to have that extra frosty a/c. All new parts.

You must be registered for see images attach

Got the a/c fixed yesterday and I just cleaned out my blower box and evaporator, heres the pile of crux that came out not counting what's in the vacuum.

Small lil update which some of you saw on facebook last night. I got my core support painted since I had everything apart tracking down a short in my HID harness. I got that fixed pretty easily.

I also got my second layer of fat mat on the passenger door so now the roof, doors, and back wall all have 2 layers. I put 2 layers down on the floor for a total of 3 layers and 3 layers on the trans hump for a total of 4 there. Looks like I might have just enough to do one more layer on the doors or another layer on the back wall, not sure where it would be best placed. No pics of that cause it got dark.

scooped up a MarkVIII fan and a new v8 TBI, finally ordered some red plexi glass to do the HVAC control mod, and hopefully if the sheet metal shop at work is not too busy this week I will be getting my notch cover built some time this week.

Random pic of parts. lol

You must be registered for see images attach

Got the new TBI smoothed and cleaned up a little. I'm thinking about maybe trying to polish it too.

Cleaned up my MarkVIII fan and painted it yesterday. I decided against getting the blade hydrodipped, still thinking about maybe throwing some maroon metallic I have laying around on it though.

Got my MMW arms in yesterday finally and man these things are beefy. Gonna be dropping them off today after work for some candy red metallic powdercoat along with a few other items.

Well after a lot of cutting, grinding, sweating, cussing, and a little luck me, Keith, and Phil (Comeatmebrah) got the new rear end in my truck Saturday. Thats about the only pic from the weekend of workin on it but the rear end did get smoothed, new drums, new shoes, new wheel cylinders and it drives so much better with the the 3.42s vs the 4.10s it had.

Got some film put on my windshield yesterday. The stuff is made by Sun-Tek and is called CXP80, has 80% light transfer, 44% heat rejection (about the same as most 20% dark tint), and its not very reflective. This stuff is super clear and doesn't even look like anythings on the window but I could tell a difference in how much heat was coming through the windshield. We will see how it does today after sitting in the sun at work all day.

The film is on the windshield now.

Put a brow back on top of the CXP80.

Here's where we cut around the inspection sticker to show how clear this stuff is.

I did get my primary run of 4/0 made up, the main fuse holder modded to accept the 4/0, and started on cleaning up some of the wiring in the engine bay.

There's a few spots I'm not real happy with on a couple parts but the guy cut me a pretty good deal. I don't think the spots will be visible once installed either, at least I hope anyway. I want to get started but its like 9000* outside right now so eff that.

More goodies.

Put on a billet EGR delete plate. Thing runs better then ever now surprisingly.

I replaced all the nuts and bolts I could with grade 8 hardware for mounting the brackets. Part of the reason this swap was done was due to bolts loosening up and breaking so everything also got some red locktite as well.

I am gonna try to get the EDC mounted today and do some more engine clean up, re routing of wires, and get some better pictures.

I want to do the intake now but I have never pulled a distributor before so I am gonna have to get one of the former OBS Rydaz to come give me a hand with that one day.

Guess who has a new new dash to smooth and paint, this guy. lol. Made out pretty good at the junk yard today.

You must be registered for see images attach

Got all the dash pieces plus some stuff for the ol lady's trailblazer.

Moar seats.

You must be registered for see images attach

Denali console w/ Bose amp, sub, and 6 disc changer.

You must be registered for see images attach

Gonna go back and get some red carpet thats in great shape and the full silverado interior trim. I still haven't found that dang arm rest yet :-/

got the dash stripped down the rest of the way and cleaned up. Tomorrow after it dries out real good I'm going to going to coat the underside with some rubberized undercoating/bedliner for some additional sound deadening and maybe a little extra strength to prevent any cracks. When I get ready to do the swap and get mine out I am going to go ahead and change out the evaporator core, heater core, and that stupid little fresh air motor that clicks every time the truck turns on or off lol.

You must be registered for see images attach

Some pics of the engine bay after cleaning it up a lil more. I still got a little more wire relocating to do and figure out what to do with my hood release cable.
