Magnaflow also has a spring loaded muffler flap built inside their muffler

When on regular light throttle it is very quiet and on high wide open throttle the flap opens up and it roars

I agree that Dynomax is generally a decent brand to go with, however that design strikes me as pretty dumb. Having seen the inside of some old mufflers after they were removed, I don't even want to hazard a guess as to how long it would take for that flapper to stick shut. (Or open...)

Yea thats what I was starting to think about. Well since I'm holding off on the lift until spring I'll just spend the extra and get a complete system done. Maybe some long tubes, x pipe, and muffler on each side.

I would go with Flowmaster. They don't use internal packing material so they don't wear out.

3" in 2.5" out
