I got a question for all the guys running mmw arms, how much cutting did yall have to do to lay out?

There should be no cutting involved to lay out on those arms, other than notching for the tie rod. Do you have drop spindles?

Hello, I just helped my friend bag his truck on MMW's, and we still had to pie cut the frame behind the bag pocket, and his were the standard way they come, which moves the wheel forward 3/4 of an inch and in 3/4 of an inch, he is layed out on a 29.7 tall tire, just barely bigger than stock, we also had to tub the firewall a lot because of the 3/4 in. per side narrowed track width. On top of all of that there is no steering stop like I am used to on tubular arms, and the shock mount angle on them is terrible, I will have to think hard about it before I would buy a set of flat arms over tubular ones again.

I have Ridetech tubulars on mine and I run roughly the same OD size tires and my frame is modded the same amount that my friends are for the MMW arms.

Glad I bought the art strong arms instead of mmw arms. I emailed them and asked a ton of questions and they said I wouldn't have to cut the frame or anything.

Yeah I like my strong arms a lot, and like I say, my friends flat arms work fine, but they do have their issues like anything does. I suppose if you were running a small OD tire then you wouldn't have to modify as much but I don't like a super low profile tire, I like some sidewall!

I had to do the same thing with mine, bodied on a 265/35/22.
