Long tube headers on 5.7 96 vortec

I want to run these headers. Has anyone modified them to work with 5.7 vortec SFI? Are exhaust ports same on TBI as SFI?

All O2 sensors are in Y pipe. All that would need to be added is a tube back up from collector to head for fitting to go in on drivers side.

I searched didn't find any actually installed, just talking about them.

Right. EGR tube is going to be your only hold up.

Would a tube that long have enough draw to get back to intake manifold? Should EGR tube extend into collector or just be fitted to outside with a hole?

It won't matter where you put it. I personally would take the fitting out of the stock manifold, drill a hole in the header primary tube, grind the fitting where it fits flush (not sticking inside the tube) and weld it on the header. Bend the stock EGR tube a little to make it thread on, and roll with it.

All shorty headers EGR comes dirctlly from collector.

I think it will be better off coming dirctly off collector to make emission controls correct. Won't be that hard to run a 1 inch return tube.
