1580739? I upgraded mine to the same. It’s really quiet with the HD fan clutch too.

How does this fan compare to the old style metal 5 blade fan? Both my Vortec 350s run at normal temps, but if the plastic 11 blade flows more air, I may put that one on the big truck. Burb already has it, and they both have the HD fan clutch because they have the towing package.

Funny they changed to that design in 98. There’s another NOS on ebay for
$99.00. Still expensive though.

That's a good deal. Oh well, at least mine was delivered within 3 days of purchase.

Edit: At any rate, it's much better than paying $453.79 (plus tax and shipping) for an aftermarket unit from RockAuto.

Absolutely use best practices repairing the wiring on the airbag system. Keep in mind that you're wiring a plastic explosive mounted in your steering wheel.

Thankfully, the wiring is not damaged. I merely broke one of the yellow tabs on the crash impact sensor.

Yes. It's the one I got from SNCTMPL. I had it sand blasted and powder coated.

Looking ahead at my to-do list, I will soon be rebuilding the transfer case. I was originally planning to have it powder coated Forged Charcoal to match the transmission. However, I'm now thinking a contrasting color (namely, High Temp Silver) may look better. Curious to hear what you all think.
