hey guys my friend is in need of some of your guys wisdom he has an 89 c1500 tbi350 with 5 speed manual anyway today on his way home he went to back out of a parking spot and his truck no longer goes into reverse not with it running or off or with the clutch depressed or not im no tranny guy so i thought i would ask you all on your opinions to his prob thanks in advance

thats what i was thinking too but like i said im no tranny guru so i didnt know if reverse was syncronized are not and i didnt know if his transmission had just gone bad or what he says all the forward gears work properly with no grinding or problems at all

I've had that issue with NV3500s before some times you can sync the gears by first shifting into third and then into reverse.
