Has anyone removed the glass from their 454ss mirrors?

I have a small dent I want to push out but don't want to break the mirror.

Which side? I had a glass shop say they'd try, but if it broke, it'd cost me a new mirror. It broke, but it was the driver side. They cut a new mirror. $20.00!
Passenger may be a bit more trouble if it's convex & that's what you want to replace it with if it breaks. A flat mirror replacement would be easy.
Who's the aftermarket manufacturer? Maybe they'd sell you one.

It's the passenger side and it has a flat mirror. I think there OE since they are the metal ones.

IIRC, the ones I had were metal too. Have to ask eric.s.t. He has them now! Seems to me that the passenger side was flat in those.
