I'd like to be able to open and lock/unlock the rear door from the inside. Searching brings up information about the handle for opening the 2nd door, but I haven't found anyone that's done what I want to do.

If I ever camp in it, I'd like to be able to use the rear doors from the inside. And I just don't like the idea of a door I can't open if I need to in an emergency.

I've had the door panel off and it looks like there's room. I'd like to use a rod setup, but I've also been looking at a cable setup from a jeep, but I'd like to make it from OEM GM parts.

Anyone done this?

I have been wanting to do the same thing ever since I installed the third seat in my Tahoe.

Good thinking. I'll look at that option too.
