no offense taken. . . would any of you happen to know what long tube headers are best for my truck though?

98 means you'll need vortec headers... I think hedman and hooker are standard choices.

i found out chevelle longtubes fit on my 88. but thats tbi so that wont work for you. hedman and hooker are the basic coices, id get one with the o2 sensor bung

May I ask why you're going with longtubes? Just wondering.

I've heard they're better for top end HP, but shorties are better for low-end torque, which tends to be where your RPM's are during normal driving.
