Four wheel drive diagnosing?

Hey guys I have a 1994 Chevy Cheyenne with nv3500 4x4 on the floor and it won't engage nothing lights up. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have drive in 2WD? How about in 4 high? We need to know more to help out here.

Transmission works fine tried putting it 4h 4l nothing lights up or engages and just a reminder it does shift on the floor

still has an actuator in the front diff

I had to change one in my old 94 k2500 floor shift, they are very easy, and a very common thing to go. you can find tons of threads on testing and replacement.
