Daily truck pics

Apparently today is "drive your OBS/400" day in my part of Houston! I saw, and got pics of these trucks... plus I saw, but they were too fast to catch in traffic: a pewter CCSB, right near the RV park, a Burb, two more ECSB (one a very nice dark blue Sportside rocking brush finished Texas Edition wheels) and a 4 door Tahoe.
The red and black 2 door Tahoe is back in the 'hood with For Sale written on the back glass. It's one block east of Stella Link, right off the 610 service road. Hopefully I can get more pics and info soon.

This gold longbed was a lot sweeter than the picture gives it credit for! Couldn't catch him to get a better one....and two ex cabs.
All of these were within 5 miles of the RV park!

My son had Gravedigger and he wouldn’t let me play with it so I found this 400 on eBay called Clydesdale. Now be he won’t let me play with this one either hahaha.

These are really cool they are push and go and these things haul butt.

That's the way, start the young ones early. Before you know it he will be building his own truck. Kids are also a good way to be get to play with toys you wish you had eh?

Yesterday I saw this "two tone" ECSB at the ritzy Kroger by West University Place (had to go over there to get something my local stores were out of, on sale and they wouldn't do a rain check on it). Got another shot of my big boy; we were actually on the same row but further out, as the other truck. This is not a store I would expect to see any older vehicles in the lot of!
Then today I got a couple quick shots of a K2500 Burb that lives just off Buffalo Speedway on my way home from work. This one has been there for a while, usually parked there but obviously well cared for.

Oh he already is obsessed with my truck. He used to get upset if we were in my wife’s 4Runner when I picked him up from daycare. He used to call my truck “dadas truck” but now he calls it “mah truck” so I guess he has commandeered it and it’s his now.

I’ll let him sit in the driver seat after we get home sometimes and he will sit there forever trying to turn the wheel saying bye bye etc. he gets so upset sometimes bawling in tears when I grab him to walk inside.

Saw these today, going to Deer Park for a toy show, and on the way home. Got to talk trucks with the Tahoe owner a while; he was coming into the BBQ place we ate lunch at, when we were getting ready to leave. Had to get a shot of his lil 400 and my big one....

Crazy how big/tall the 1500s are nowadays. The tailgate/bed rails on the new one are crazy high for a 1500

Some of y'all are getting rain.... I'm a little bit jealous. We're pretty dry here in SE Texas

Had any yet? We've gotten a bit near Dallas recently.
