Can I lower my seat?

I just want some old camaro style low back buckets, but dam they'll be expensive. Like 2nd gen buckets

I may look for new seats at the junkyard again too. My father brought up the question of safety. And while I know the seat belt isnt attached to the seat he got me thinking. So if I can find another set of seats (maybe bonnies this time) and they are thinner I will get them. Its only $20 for two seats so its cheap. And Scott, woo bad your not near me. The yard I go to is dirt cheap but has great stuff.

when I cut and reweld mine I'm going to add some additional braces to them... the weak link when I'm done is where they actually attach to the truck

You could cut the bracket, and bolt the 2 pieces together, one inch lower. No need to weld.

yeah I would do that on maybe one leg or something but not on the whole bracket. these things gotta be strong mayne
