Broken Ignition

when i was replacing the ignition switch i accidentally broke the little plastic piece inside the ignition housing that turns the switch

I tried jb welding it back on but it wouldn't stay. so is there a way to replace that stupid plastic thing. or can i just wire a ignition switch and keyless start?

You could definitely install a push button start on your truck! If you'd be interested in doing that, I'm sure I could help!

i mean i think it would be pretty cool. like separate switches for acc, ign, and start? and use the key for unlocking the steering wheel and shifter?

My key doesn't have any spring load to it when in the start position and nothing happens. I have everything wired up and I used a screw driver to put the ignition switch on the harness in the correct position for starting.
