Brake Booster Vacuum Line

I have a metal vacuum line running halfway to my brake booster which threads into the front of my intake. Is it possible to replace this with a rubber line? I want to put an aftermarket set of valve covers on my motor and the line rests almost directly on top of my current valve covers.

yes you can run a rubber vaccum line without issue. or you can convert to hydroboost and get rid of that line all together.
