You would benefit from it big time. It's pretty much universally known that the stock headers and Y-pipe on these trucks SUCK. Definitely help the sound, throttle response, help the engine breath, maybe even help your mileage a tiny bit.

You can always try using band clamps. Those seal pretty good.
