Back in a OBS

I have owned a few OBS trucks over the years but they were more like new trucks then. Just picked up this 1996 extended cab short bed today. Amazing paint. Needs some small finishing, has a 383 stroker with a monster transmission, new rear. Someone spent a lot of money. I plan on doing all the little things to finish. AC needs to be finished, it’s 99.9 there. I’m also changing the tire of course.

Probably not the right place to ask but would you put a 31 inch type truck tire on (white letter) or go with a lower profile style. I know the ones on it now are way too small.

Those tires do seem out of proportion.
Depends on what your planned usage is for it I guess. Just highway? Some off-road adventures? Plan on lowering it?
On my 91, the stock diameter was about 29".

I plan on leaving it at the height it is now. No off-road use. Mostly running around my small town and car meets. I was actually looking for one to make
Homedepot runs but the bed is so nice I’m not sure I will do that.
