You already have multi point fuel injection (MPFI), it's just that it's inside of your intake and uses a very funky proprietery injector system, whether that is a poppet, or the newer mini inline injector style. Either way figuring out exactly what is going on is the trick. No need to throw money at the problem. What exactly is your truck doing?

Then you've seen something I haven't Parentnoia. I haven't heard of converting to MPFI with the stock intake. By looking at it, it would seem to me to be more of a pain in the ass and less cost effective than the Marine intake. Do you have a link to where you found that info? I'd like to see it. Me personally, I'm putting a 454 into my halfie, but I have a couple buddies who would be interested to see how to convert their L31s

Technically, she's just my girlfriend, but by Texas law, we're already married. Common Law Marriage. We've been together for 4 years and have a 2 year old daughter.

Good luck man. I mean it. Not many people can stay together these days. My ex just decided she didn't like me anymore. If I'm not mistaken, I think that's a general rule of marriage haha

Well my ultimate goal with this truck is a 454, but that's way too far in the future for me to just put up with what I have.
As for where I found the stuff, I already looked it back up since I figured you'd ask.

Ok, I see what you mean. I've already done that to my truck, and that part on eBay is the second link I gave you in one of my posts. While technically yes, it is MPFI, you still cannot upgrade the injectors to a larger size, which is what I though you were getting at, was to use true MPFI so you could upgrade in the future.

I didn't think I'd be able to do the 454 this soon either. Got lucky and picked up a running Suburban for $900, yanked the drivetrain and hydroboost, and made $1200 parting it out haha

Well what you seem to be calling true MPFI, is what I've always been told as EFI. And if I were to go with an EFI conversion, I'd go with Edelbrock's kit.

EDIT: Actually I found that Holley makes a kit with the throttle body style I like. And it's cheaper. But doesnt come with injectors.

Well right now we're struggling to save up for new tires. We have maybe $20 not spent on bills a week. And of that, we have none left by the next paycheck because she buys cigarettes.

All EFI means is Electronic Fuel Injection. Which in a nutshell is pretty much anything that's "computer" controlled and not carbureted (gas engines, anyways). So TBI, MPFI, TPI, SPFI, and all the other I's are EFI.
