Good question. Im not sure, I'll ask them next time I'm out there. They may not tell me alot about the motors, that's one thing they keep kinda secret about.

I see I would guess it is as they can make a ton of power, That cat wasn't orginally in there though, prob a Detroit

Who knows with those guys. I do know that they said the motors in those 2 trucks a marine diesels. I guess you can pump a ton more HP out of them. I'm posting a pic of the green trucks old motor after it was pulled for the new cat. It's being rebuilt right now to go into my other friends truck I mentioned earlier.

Old green Detroit, good engines! and the marine engines must be heavier built so they can through more boost and fuel at it, Very sweet setups.
