Definitely. It quit 75 miles from home which made it a lot bigger deal. Fortunately, I've got good friends that have my back and it's back on the road less than 24 hrs later.

A few updates:

Got my backup lights mounted and wired

Threw some leds in my cup holder so I stop dumping my drink at night

Found a working hood light on one of my junkyard trips.

Got the AC working today. Installed new Sanden compressor, drier, orifice tube, condenser, and got it charged.

Changed the oil today as well and grabbed some 9012s to throw in the lows at some point.

Why 9012s? Shouldn't they be 9006s?

They're a higher lumen output and will plug into the 9006 socket and fit in the housing by trimming the lock tabs a little.

No problem. I'm planning on switching my headlights to be relay powered as well which makes a difference. The combination of the 2 should improve my night time visibility.

I was planning on doing the headlight power / 4 hi upgrade and using the SilverStars. Now I have to rethink the bulb part... lol
