So I bought this about a month or so ago. I'm upsizing from an 01 Sonoma crew cab. I got it for a song. Solid rockers, cab corners & frame. The bed & tailgate are well used, but still useable for the moment.

No major plans as of yet, starting out simple. Minor mods here & there. Repair the bad as they arise.

Replaced the hood hinge handle.

Sectioned in pieces of wire to repair the damaged harness in the lf dr sill. They had house electrical connectors holding together. Now it's has heat-shrink butt-connectors, liquid tape & electrical tape. Triple protection.

Replaced the broken plate light housings on the rear bumper with a used set. No point spending good money on a crappy bumper. Needed to pass inspection.

Also added a GM hitch cover that I got from a 99 Tahoe.

Added trim rings from a Savana van & mini quad headlights from an 89 k2500. Got a headlight harness from a 99 Escalade (has dual horns (mine only had one horn), temp mirror wiring, fog light wiring) has the same connector @ the firewall, removed the air bag wiring & spliced in the headlight pigtails for the mini quads (heat-shrink butt-connectors, liquid tape & electrical tape). Also grabbed a color matched composite headlight style grille from a 98 k1500, it's not perfect but it'll get the job done for now.

everything missing from the front of this 98 gmc k1500 is sitting in my yard. I like to have spare parts that are the same color, makes life easier. the cowl panel has already been installed on my truck as mine was damaged.
