99 burb what does this do and where does the hose connect to?

Hey all, I recently finished a motor swap as my girl blew the old one and it's been driving great but I did a recent check on everytime and I can't figure out what this does or where it connects to. There is a hose here but it runs to nothing right now... Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thx!!

Looks like part of your heater core circuit.

Back up a bit and take another picture.This picture is like trying to find waldo with a microscope.

It’s the water (heater) valve. It closes when the temperature dial is set to the max cold detent to close coolant off from the heater core to increase a/c performance.

The hose goes to a solenoid on the firewall near the accumulator. There’s then a hose (tube) from the solenoid over to the PCV valve.
