9.5 SF 6 Lug

Just picked up this 6 lug 9.5 SF rear. It has 3.73 open diff but I will finally be doing a 4.10 gear swap. What do I need for this swap that I may be missing??? Any suggestion on a locker? Eaton, Detroit, Lockright...?????

Thats the ratio change i just went thru between my old/new truck. It makes more difference than you would think. I have my tires off my old truck on my new one.

Maybe not but it will help a bit with the big tires. I don't want to go to 4.56.

Time for more power

Ordered the stock GM 350 HD crate and doing the LT4 Hotcam w/ 1.6 rockers and I can finally use my set of Flowtech shorty headers I got like 2 years ago. The heads are being port/ polished and machined to accept the higher lift. I am still debating the 411 swap or just stick with the stock black box.

I have been reading up on the forum about other builds like this and they have mixed reviews so I am eager to get this motor in the truck.

Well I got the new motor in this weekend. Engine runs great. New ECM installed and had to recode keys before final start-up. A couple loose ends to figure out. I will post pics when it is complete but here are a few shots.

A/C compressor bracket modified to clear valve covers.
