98 k1500 Window scratches

Has anyone incountered with this isssue i have scratches on the outside of both driver and passenger side windows any help as to why it does this?

Normally it's from opening and closing windows with sand in the felt seals, if I get mud, clay or sand on my windows I refrain from opening them till I can pressure wash it all off

Agree with the above response. If the scratches are not too severe, they can sometimes be polished out using cerium oxide. Hope I got that name right, but any good glass guy will know what it is.

Ok thats what i figured was the issue gonna pick new glass from a guy parting out a similar truck. I guess it would be in my best interest to get new ouside felt molding also
