I've had a massive powersteering leak and I was putting off fixing it until I did a hydraboost swap.
The leak got bad enough I had to fix it NOW.
$40 later a new pressure hose installed and things are good to go.

Also installed the Bilsteins I bought for the rear of the truck

I'm not a stereo guy at all but I did want Bluetooth so I reluctantly swapped out the stock head unit for an aftermarket head unit. It has Bluetooth and a remote (good for controlling from the back when camping) otherwise I hate it LOL

So..... I'm a cheap ******* so I thought I'd give an idea just how cheap. A run down of what I've paid for what looks like this LOL:

99+ 6 lug disks: Free for pulling the parts (even reusing the like new pads)
6 lug 14 bolt 9.5": $100
Brand new Bilstein 4600's: $69 shipped after eBay coupon
Green topper: $40
Red topper: Free
Map/compass mirror with sensor and wiring: $12
F-body door chime: $4
Rough Country U-bolts for axle swap UP about $6
2" factory gmt800 lift blocks $4
U-bolt flip spring plates $38 shipped (Barnes off road)

If you are looking for a deal and take your time looking you can save some big bucks

nice. how did you get the u bolts so cheap?

Not anyway I would recommend.
I decided to run a 2" block and the first set that I got really cheap on eBay wouldn't work...
So I sold those for more than the cost of the rough Country U bolts I bought.

RC sent 3-5/8 u bolts the first time and they told me to just keep em and they sent out the ones I needed for free....
When I sell the wrong set of RC Ubolts I'll be up probably be up even more...

But definitely a PITA situation

Hell I'm trying to figure out where you bought a 14 bolt for $100 lol

Craigslist
Instead of looking for a sixlug 14 I just looked for "parting out" listings
This one was an 8 lug axle but the guy swapped in 6 lug shafts before I hauled it away

Anyone listing an axle as a "6 lug 14 bolt" probably knows what they have is my theory

Are the 10 bolt 6 lug shafts swappable to the 14 bolt rear? or are they different axle shafts / spline count?
