I know I keep posting pictures of junk but it's always fun finding stuff you forgot you had

I'm going to build a rear bumper that has a spare tire carrier built in using the stuff here

This is a Dana 44 hub with the lugs machined off.
A Dana 44 spindle
Also a stub shaft with the u-joint yoke cut off
This will be used as the spare tire carrier pivot. I'm installing a locking hub in it and this will be used to lock it in the open or closed position (along with the latch when closed)

I've been wanting one of those swing out tire carriers. Always like seeing peoples different takes on how to make em.
