I'm Awesome
ok so correct me if I'm wrong, looks as if outaline is using rear spring hangers from the rear of an oobs, on the rear of his front springs, and then dirtridin is using front spring hangers from an oobs on the rear of his.
So basically any oobs hanger works front or rear from the backend and works on the back end of the front springs.
Then stock front spring hangers from an oobs from the front end, works fine on these, as well as being paired to some stock 52 inch or lifted rear springs from an oobs up front on our trucks.
Sounds good, now I need some junkyards lol.
Also seems like with this, you are left with 2 options, a ford diff. retain the 241 t-case which is DS drop, or get the 241 PS drop oobs t-case with vss, then use a chevy axle up front. I like th eidea of sticking to chevy, but you must custom fab a crossmember to make the PS drop case work, and I aint sure if you mod the DS drop crossmember any if you use the DS drop case or not?
Also for brakes if you run a ford axle do you use ford calipers or chevy?
steering of course, nothin but hi steer/crossover right?
I ask because I don't have much fab skills and welding and such and was looking for the best and most bolt on setups. I aint afraid to grind or cut anything but welding things back up and such I'm not so great with yet, and have very low budget as well, so stock old parts help big time.
