It won't fit perfectly in that spot but if you make your own I bet you could make it work that way

IIRC that is a different OHC. That OHC comes out of a blazer, savanna, etc. If you look at where the DIC and the OHC meet, it's a completely different mold. Not to mention that the OHC out of the blazer has a built-in compass. With the right ingenuity though you might be able to get it to work.

nope. You'd have to find a way to mount it in those OHCs. They aren't the same shape

The OHC from the blazers, etc will still work in the tahoes. I just meant to say that the OHC that you bought might not fit the DIC from the blazer (If you find the DIC only).
Also just proofread what I wrote, didn't mean to say "completely different mold" was just trying to say that if you try to retofit the DIC into the current OHC you have now, it might not look as good due to the difference in shape.
