Yes. (See my build thread for pictures of my '96 with 88-89 & 4-Hi.)

4-hi is a modification performed in the wiring itself, so long as there are 2 low- & 2 high-beam lamps on the front of your truck, the mod is doable.

I want to do this mod also. I love the look of the 88-89 headlights and I have a 95 c1500. I'm having a hard time finding the headlights for a decent price.

Doesn't really need a write up.

-Remove grill
-Remove 4 10mm bolts holding on headlight buckets
-splice on new pigtail
-bolt on new headlight assembly
-trim grill so it fits right (might only be chev)
-install grill

Trimming for 88/89 Lights with 94+ Chev grill

Edited my previous post. super easy to do the grill mod, i just used a cut off wheel on die grinder.

Awesome thank you. Do you have to trim both side like that or just the one side? I'm going to hit up the bone yards this weekend and see what I can get.
