89 Glove box door ugh

Just bought this truck. Need to fix this glove box door.
I know I can find the door itself on eBay or if there is a better option please advise.

But my question is not about the door or the pins.

its about the mount area on the left side. Looks broken in there.
And also what needs removed to install the door or ?? how do I install it.

The right side is fine, the should be a spring washer on the glove box stud that goes in to the hole there. On the left side you need to remove the center panel that holds the equalizer and remove the screw for the broken pivot that is shown in your picture. The pivot is fairly small and you might find one at a scrap yard.

I replaced mine a very years ago, it was like $20 for that tiny bracket, I got the part from www.classicindustries.com

I found the hidden hinge part at LMC.
