I almost had myself convinced I wouldn't like the chrome covers, but now I see them, they look really good.

I don't blame you there. Can't beat brand new tires even if they are a bit on the tiny side.

Have you considered going with a slightly wider tire up front for the future? Something like 255/85R16 rear and 275/70R16 front? It really helps with the HD 4x4 look IMO, and does so while keeping space between your rear tires without poking them out past the flare.
Naw I plan to keep the same size all the way around. Make rotating tires easier. Plus narrow tires get better mileage....

Thanks!

Looks good, I like those sill protectors. Wish someone had put a set on mine at some point. They are down to bare metal in a few spots....

Looks great.

I think you need to throw some black paint on that exhaust :hmm:
Well, you know.... I think replaced will look better than painted. Just sayin'

Although for the time being I might splash something on there.

I think Lund under the deflecta-shield name sold them as well, I put a set of them in my 88 when the paint started to wear through. They aren't terribly expensive and really look good IMO.

truck is looking great dave.
Thanks Chris!

I love watching this build because

1. You have superb taste in trucks and build them in a way that it should have come factory.
2. Your truck is mines polar opposite.
3. It's just a sweet truck to begin with, but now it's better x10!

Looks awesome so far!

Sent from the big block!
