Yah, 3k Rip'ems @ 60mph sounds like my old 454 truck with it's SM465. It had 4.10 cogs out back. Pitiful.

yeah, sounds like it ill lift the tire and measure the turns. also I finally found the officiual info on my tranny
IT is a TR3340-7 from tremec with
1st 3.81
2nd 2.30
3rd 1.45
4th 1-1

other thing bud, these crazy basts equipped on our trucks (Mex market) Tremec TR3340-7 trannies as stated in the post up, I am investigating if they have the parts interchangeable with the 5 speed TR3350-6 that was equipped in a few 1995 trucks for Mexico.
