315's on stock wheels...Safe or Not?...Opinions Please

What are your opinions on running 35's or 315's on stock wheels. I have heard many people do it but I have also been seeing people say that its very very dangerous... Opinions PLease!!!!

I have 17x7.5 inch wheels off of a 2004 Z71 Tahoe and want to run 315 BFG A/T but dont want to hurt myself, anyone else, and of course my truck.. what do you guys think

It is safe and you are not gonna hurt anything.

Don't become the setty7 to the gmt400 world.

Just get 20x14s and run a footwide tire..would look **** IMO...lol

There is no problem running the 315's on stock wheels.

would there be a problem airing down the 315's on stock wheels to say 12-15 psi to go on very soft sand?

Without beadlocks I see that being a problem on almost any wheel.

Yeah, I usually do about 18-20 psi when i go on the beach, I'm not brave enough to go any lower then that.

i had 36x12.5 tsl on stock nbs rims...they did fine but wore a bit more in the middle

offroad i ran about 18-20 psi in them and never had a problem.

Setty7 is a member on FSC who starts 5 new threads every day and asks the same questions repeatedly, then when he gets answers, he never touches his truck, just asks for the heck of it i reckon.. Lol
