Thanks for the reminder. I'm coming up on my first retorque.Retorqued the U bolts tonight. They were tight but I got a couple more turns out of two than I was expecting. I think I’ve put 75 miles on it so far. I know you’re supposed to check at 10, 100, and 1000 so that’s on me.
Back from the alignment. I checked the sheet before I left and wasn’t too keen on the camber. They are really swamped and I will be going back next Friday (the day I was to leave for Battle in Bama) early morning.
@bluex i did tell them to aim for -0.5 to -0.7 but that I also trusted them on their opinion. I should have been more firm.
Anyways, pics of the sheet and of my tire scrubbing. Both fronts are chewed up the same. I should roll my fenders.
Yes, I had them dial it back some and to me it feels much better to drive at speed. I think the remaining shakiness is due to the input shaft play on the Borgeson. I will mention getting the caster closer if possible - to me it seemed fine. Biggest thing is camber right now. It is odd that my caster was pretty good before. Which leads to…Looks too me like they only did toe too. Caster looked better before they touched it as far as being even. Again, not horrible but could still be better.
I did notice that. Whose machine is correct? I would bet WCFab.Did you notice the difference in numbers between the 2 different alignments? Between your final numbers from first to numbers before your latest.
Hammer time.We did the fender rolling and it helped a lot. It still rubs on right turns but not left turns. I think the next step is probably going to involve an angle grinder and cut-off wheels.
