Buddy bought this Astro a couple months back with plans to build an overlander/camper. Bought a gmt800 8.1 and a camper shortly after.

He's had it at my place running thru it for a tune up and build prep but now wants to pass it along.

It's an '03 LS with the AWD. Super clean. 130,0xx mi. Gray cloth interior with two bench seats.

In all, great shape and an awesome starting place.

Runs good. Really clean. Just had a number of tune up items done by me.

The only issue is a slight oil leak at the pan. It's the only other thing I'd be fixing mechanically if it were mine.

Body is straight and paint is pretty darn good. Small scratches here and there and hail dings in hood and roof.

Front and rear AC from factory but PO has a compressor delete bracket on there right now.

I'm happy to discuss the details I know of over the phone if you pm me your number we can call or text as preferred.

Will get more interior pics soon.

Asking $6000. Pass it around if you know van folks looking. Will probably cross-post to astrosafari.com as well.

Seen a Faster with Finnegan episode, where they took one of these, twin turboed it, to race against a Syclone, and Typhoon. They called it the Momsoon. They had a lot of trouble, but made some improvements.

GM should've made a Monsoon version. Would've been killer with the other two.

I always felt the best conversion was to SAS the Astro with an axle with 8-bolt hubs.
