Newbie
New to this forum, this is also my first post. Feel free to comment and ask questions. I lost several of my pictures from the first stages unfortunately
I bought this 1998 GMC K1500 in 2011 or 2012 cant remember, from an older gentleman who used it to pull a travel trailer in Wyoming until he moved to Texas. I am the second owner, had 122,000 miles when I bought it. However the engine had a severe knock.
Luckily I had a 350 crate with flat tops and vortec heads from another truck. So for $800 bucks I fell in love with her!!
Stock items
350
nv3500 5 speed
upgraded suspension
tow package
HD radiator
Engine block heater
Dual batteries
Factory Chrome tow mirrors
Here's how she looked when I went to pick her up.
Installing the dodge tows
With the 3in body lift, keys, and 2" blocks installed and new tires and wheels 35x12.50x18s
After I got the window tint with the camper shell
Added nerf bars and lights behind the grill
Building the front bumper
Finished bumper after repainting
After changing out the grill and headlights
Just pictures with body lift, bumpers, keys and tires
Building the rear bumper
Finished rear bumper and new tires
RCX lift install/installed
Before and after RCX
Cleaning and fixed support also put 4.56gears front and rear with auburn posi out back
My attempt at making gap guards
Some where in there I converted to carb.
One of the many exhaust systems I have had on the truck
I will leave off with some current pics till I can find some of the older pictures
Thanks for reading. I will be posting pictures as I come across them.
