I am starting this build thread to share my progress on my truck. I have a 1996 Chevy k1500 RCSB 4x4. With the vortec 350 and the nv3500 5 speed tranny. Right now I am running 265/70 r17 which are pretty much 33s. I only have 3.42 gears. So can't go any bigger right now. My plans are a rough country 4 inch lift kit along with a front end rebuild when i do the install. Also I will be doing the steering gear box and maybe the oil pan gasket while I'm in there. It's going to be slow as I have to save up the money. So expect frequent post probably around late may.
So i will just update with small changes in the meantime.
