To answer to the original post, yes you can bolt 5 speed to LS engine. I have a 5.3L using the 5 speed in my 93. Use a 4.8L Flywheel and clutch kit.

Im in the process of swapping it out as we speak. Got all the parts, but when i took the old TBI motor out i did not take off the stock motor mounts. Now i need to find some. Im hoping I can put in the 6.0 this weekend.

Thanks fellas

Well been a while since I had even worked on her but I hav started on her again. Just couldn't let her sit there anymore. Some changes though. I'm going carb on the 6.0l
I did use a 4.8l flywheel, pilot bushing from a 2001 camaro and the stock clutch assembly for the trans.
Took some time and cleaned up the engine and installed the carb and intake.

Quick question
My truck has a return line. Of course I'm going carb so i won't need it. I can just cap it off and put it off to the side correct?
Got this in the mail today!

So i got me the corvette fuel filter and got up to the regulator. Still need the fittings to go from -6 to the carburetor. Also go the wiring sorted out and managed to crank the motor over with the key. Got the headers installed, plugs, wires, oil cooler block off plate, new slave cylinder, water pump and some other misc things.
