Edelbrock 2116 or similar. Just make sure it specifies for Vortec heads. Trans Dapt makes TBI adapter plates. You can probably get both on Summit or Jegs.

It will work, but it’s more expensive than the intake and adapter.

I found a used one for 300. Didn't think an extra 100 was that big of deal.

It’s all good. The intake/adapter combo can be had for under $200. What size are the throttle bores on the GMPP intake? Can it handle a big block throttle body?

Good point for an all out build but not sure that is a concern for most vortec swaps

Im sure there are heads out there that flow just as well as the vortecs that will bolt up to the tbi and you wont have to get an adaptor, mess with accessory brackets, and so on
