    Post your lifted 2wd's!

I didn't have to add a spacer or flip the ball joints. I actually question if there was much of a bright gain but I have nothing to compare to. It had drop springs and I needed springs.

    Lowered to Lifted, 91 rcsb

After sitting on jack stands for nearly a year I made progress this past weekend after coming across a perfect donor truck. It was a low mileage c2500, and even though the rear 14 bolt is the narrower 2wd axle it was G80 and 3:73 so I couldn't pass it up. I ended up swapping the coil springs...

Set the springs in to see how it sat. Right now my rear fender height is 36". Just wondering what some of your guys fender height measurements are and what set up you have?

All the brake parts are in. I just went with basic generic replacement parts. I ended up sticking with 5 lug for now until I get a little more research in. It is just a matter of swapping front rotors out when the time comes to find a 6 bolt rear diff. Now I need to decide on rough country...

What kind of offset/back space would I be looking at to be rub free in an aftermarket 17x8.5? I was looking at something like the method standard wheel. In my case do you feel 5 lug may have been fine? While I put the order in, I don't believe it ships till tomorrow. I can still change the...

Front 6 lug rotor/hubs along with brake stuff has been ordered. Removed the sport mirror's, they didn't seem like they would fit with a lift. Also took a couple pictures of my very dirty 97.

Nothing major tonight. Removed the shocks and leaf springs. Had every intention to order 6 lug rotors, calipers, pads, bearings, and seals today but it completely slipped my mind. I put off ordering the rough country 2" kit for this week. Still considering.

Updates will be slow going for a bit. Swap meet coming up this weekend that I'm looking to get rid of some more stuff at. In the mean time the rear axle is unbolted from the leafs and snapped a couple pictures on the engine.

What are your guy's thoughts on 2" coils with spindles? I'm not sure I need that much lift. I would like to run a 285/75/16 if I go the 6 lug route.

    My maroon duo

New to the forum and thought I would post up some pictures of my 91 and 97. The 91 will be getting some suspension changes shortly. Pictures are kind of all over but you can see the changes. No pictures of the 97's engine bay but it does breath a little nicer with the whipple bolted to it...

    91/97 from Alberta

Hello! Heard about the forum from another forum. I haven't been frequenting forums in a few years as a result of a loss of interest in my 91/97. I recently have been doing a lot of research for some changes to my 91 and hopefully the forum will come in handy. I have been a proud owner of...
